Accessibility statement
I want everyone to be able to watch my work and get in touch, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This statement covers justmike.gr.
Standard
The site is designed and tested to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the level required by the European standard EN 301 549 (version 4.1.1, September 2026) that underpins the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882, Greek law 4994/2022).
Status: largely conforms. The exceptions are listed under Known limitations.
Built-in options
The round accessibility button (bottom right) lets you enlarge text, raise contrast, turn off animations, underline links, hide the decorative pointer and have the page read aloud — including links, email addresses and buttons, or the whole page in order.
The site follows your device settings for dark mode, increased contrast and reduced motion until you choose otherwise. Everything works with a keyboard alone and with screen readers. The site is available in English and Greek.
Sound never plays on its own: the nature sound starts only when you press Sound, and it pauses whenever a video plays.
Known limitations
Videos are played in YouTube's own player. Its controls and captions are provided by YouTube; captions are shown where a video has them.
Short clips uploaded directly to the site may not have captions or audio description yet. If you need a description of any video, email me and I will send one.

If something on the site is hard to use, or you need content in another format, email contact@justmike.gr. I usually reply within a day and aim to fix accessibility problems within 30 days.

Self-assessment: automated testing with axe-core against WCAG 2.2 AA in both themes and both languages, plus manual keyboard, zoom and screen-reader checks.
